Cushing's/Taylor's Battery was formed in 1997 for
the purpose of advancing the awareness and knowledge of the American Civil War.
Unlike most units, we portray both Union and Confederate.
All living histories and reenactments are carried out in authentic uniforms and
accouterments of an Artillery Battery from the American Civil War. Members are
trained and qualified by the National Civil War Artillery Association to safely
operate muzzle loading cannons on the field.
